Only a few more weeks of Summer so let's pay homage to as many ocean pools as we can so we can go for a night ride and night swim.
This week's ride is to Mahon Pools in Maroubra. Riding next to the light rail around Centennial Park, then taking the back streets of Kensington and Kingsford, onto Maroubra road down into Maroubra to Mahon Pools.
We'll spend 30 mins there going for a swim and share some nibbles.
Distance: 25 km return (about 1 hour one way)
Difficulty: Mostly flat until Maroubra road, and a flatter route back to Redfern.
