Not sure what happened but we had double the FB RSVP turn out. Was it the shout out celebrating 1000 members in the group or the call for solidarity for some special ladies on the other side of the world who are fighting to just be allowed in public on a bike #iranianwomenlovecycling, everyone has their challenges, some bigger than others.
Shout out to everyone who's joined SNR. We're 1000 people in the group so plenty of new faces. Come out and say hi. Also a shout out to some special ladies on the other side of the world who are fighting to just be allowed in public on a bike #iranianwomenlovecycling, everyone has their challenges, some bigger than others. We're heading to Ballast point to see some pretty lights. Pit Stop 1 - Rolling past the reopened Tram Shed Pit Stop 2 - Bay run Pit Stop 3 - The Ballast Point Pit Stop 4 - Some pub in Balmain Facebook event Route link Distance: 20 kms Difficulty: a few hills that aren't long, SNR is heading north again, though this time we will be exploring a little further afield to get a great view of the city panorama from beautiful Balls Head (the sign says so, it must be true).
This ride is all about the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We'll ride over it and we'll be visiting some prime viewing locations on both sides of the harbour, both from the west and the east. This is a moderately difficult ride. It's a little bit longer, the route is fairly undulating (with a couple of short but steep climbing sections) and we will be riding through the CBD on roads that will see us face a little more pressure than usual. Distance: 21 kms Difficulty: Medium - Hard. Small hills Facebook: link Strava: link Route: link Highlights:
